Jenni Bigback, MD
  • Lame Deer, Montana
  • The Ohio State University
Jenni attended undergraduate school at Brown University where she majored in Biology and Anthropology. She graduated from The Ohio State University School of Medicine. She has worked as an EMT for the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, as a substitute teacher, and a Hot Shot firefighter. Jenni is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. Her interests include reading and running.




Kris Cunningham, MD
  • Billings, Montana
  • University of Minnesota
Kris attended undergraduate school at MSU-Billings, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. He graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth and the RPAP program where his achievements and community activities led to his election to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society and serving as vice president of his medical school class. His interests include fishing and bird hunting, hiking and building things. Kris is a member of the Crow Tribe of Indians.




Stephanie Draper, MD
  • Pittsford, New York
  • Oregon Health Sciences University
Stephanie Draper graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University, and will join our program with advanced standing after an internship in psychiatry at Dartmouth. She is originally from western New York but moved to Missoula after graduating from college in Maine with a degree in geology. Once in Montana, she became heavily involved in both environmental conservation and education - working with an Americorps program and guiding teens in the woods of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. After becoming a wilderness EMT in 1999, she began to actively pursue a career in medicine. She has an interest in women's health and preventative medicine, and enjoys telemark skiing, hiking, trail running, and writing in her free time.




Zachary Meyers, MD
  • Kalispell, Montana
  • Oregon Health Sciences University
Zach attended Willamette University majoring in Biology. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine. He has been active in his school as OHSU student body president, as well as active in the Wilderness Medicine Interest Group. He has worked as a tour boat guide and a substitute teacher. He is conversational (albeit rusty) in Japanese and German. His interests include telemark skiing, marathon running, and hiking.




Ryan Schwanke, MD
  • Great Falls, Montana
  • University of Washington
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Carroll College. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine. During medical school, Ryan volunteered in free clinics and programs for the homeless in Whitefish and Seattle, and was active in the Family Medicine and Sports Medicine interest groups. Ryanıs interests include fishing, hiking and camping and a variety of sports.




Neil Sun Rhodes, MD
  • Fort Kipp, Montana
  • Oregon Health Sciences University
Neil received a degree in Microbiology from MSU Bozeman. He graduated from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine where he graduated with a MD/MPH degree. He has a particular interest in public and preventive health and in issues affecting rural and Native American health. Through the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, he has participated in several studies of seat-belt safety, elder nutrition, and fish consumption practices among various tribes in the Northwest area. He is a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
